Nestled below the steepest ridge of by the summit of Mount Foniskos, what began as wild seedlings generations ago, this aggressively sloping micro-grove now yields the most expressive, fragrant oil from our groves.
This mountaintop acreage features a steep gradient and challenging rock obstacles. Many of the ancient trees have adapted unique shapes to cope with the challenging environment rooting over the top of boulders, and growing partially side-ways to cope with strong winter winds.
Located just below Deli, this sub-summit grove has an aggressively steep alpine slope that continues into the wild forest below. Wild birds and animal life are common sights on this remote acreage.
Sitting adjacent to Magglari, this acreage is nestled just below the highest point of the nearest western foothill of Mount Foniskos. Bordered by a seasonal creek and wild trees, Katahari enjoys uncharacteristic gentle soil for her altitude. As a result, her oil finds a gentle balance of alpine character.
Located just below Elitsa, this mid-mountain plot overlooks valleys to the west, and distant towns on the horizon. Surrounded by a wild forest below, Tserani is a common resting point for mountain goats on their summit climbs.
Grown in the middle of Mount Foniskos, these groves have made their home just below a 60ft cliff face ascending to the summit. A beautiful combination of mixed sandy soil and fresh rain runoff from the rocks above gives Thymari’s oil a distinctively smooth experience.
A unique ridge of Mount Foniskso gifts this high elevation grove a moderate gradient with mixed sandy soil. Elitsa's mountain basin allows the trees to readily absorb fresh mountain runoff with great ease.
Located just below the northern rocky summit of Mount Foniskos, this historic plot began from wild seedlings generations ago. Known by locals as a scenic overlook, this near summit ridge has spectacular views of the winding river and villages far below. Pezouli’s oil presents concentrated aromas thanks to the highly limited yield per tree, and unprotected exposure to the elements.
An Ancient Groves favorite, Ahladia is located mid-mountain and gently descends to a seasonal creek bed. This acreage is most loved for her multiple heirloom pear trees that typically provide fresh fruit during harvest times.
Adjacent to Ahladia, this mid mountain grove enjoys a gentle gradient descent into a seasonal creek bed. Still inaccessible with modern machinery this parcel is known for her heirloom almond trees.

At the most concave point between Mount Foniskos and the largest adjacent foothill, Aspropoulia rests at an intersection point where a seasonally active creek meets a flowing river below.
